Project Background
Pink & Blue Photography is a visual storytelling studio with a focus on capturing moments that balance elegance with emotional depth. The client approached me to design a logo that communicates artistry, trust, and simplicity, while aligning with their signature aesthetic — a blend of soft emotion and bold expression.
Design Goals
To create a timeless, minimal wordmark that could serve across various touchpoints — from watermarking on photos and prints to digital and social branding. The goal was to keep it clean and readable, yet elevated enough to stand beside high-end creative brands.
Creative Direction
The logotype was custom-drawn, playing with spacing and linear form to evoke a photographic frame structure. The alternating layout of the word "PHOTOGRAPHY" was intentionally chosen to reflect the client’s artistic, non-linear approach to storytelling.
Capitalized Lettering: Adds structure and balance
Neutral Color Palette: Enhances adaptability on photos without distraction
Spaced Typographic Layouts: Conveys calm, intention, and modernism
